Last month, our staff had the privilege of stepping back in time and shaking things up in San Juan Capistrano at a Roaring 20's themed holiday party.
The evening kicked off with the Martini. Vodka or gin with dry vermouth, – the choice was yours. Every sip felt like a journey back to the Gatsby era. As the night unfolded, the Cosmopolitan took center stage. Gin, lemon, orange, and freshly muddled raspberries. The perfect blend of sweet and tart. The Aviation brought a touch of elegance to our glasses. Gin, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette, and lemon. A nod to the spirit of the Roaring 20’s and first published in 1916. The Old Fashioned - bourbon, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters - a simple yet timeless concoction with laid-back sophistication. Here's to this spectacular soirée, where the past met the present, and our staff got to be the architects of the cocktail time machine. A night that will be talked about until the next roaring decade!
Cali Craft Cocktails had the pleasure of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary as we bartended for Jon's holiday extravaganza.
The Penicillin, a smoky scotch, honey, ginger, and lemon was like a cure for the winter blues, with each sip radiating comfort and holiday joy. The Dirty Martini with a choice of gin or vodka, olive brine, and dry vermouth was the kind of drink that made everyone say, "Olive you a Merry Christmas!" The Margarita. A classic, with tequila, fresh lime juice, a touch of agave and a single dash of orange bitters is ALWAYS a good choice. The Sicilian Sunrise - gin, Aperol, lemon juice, honey syrup and rhubarb bitters was a toast to holiday horizons and the promise of a new year filled with endless possibilities. Cheers to Jon's jolly jubilee, where our cocktails blended seamlessly with the warmth of the season. Here's to good times, great company, and the holiday spirits that linger long after the last ornament is packed away!
Launching the libation journey was the "Barefoot” cocktail; a spicy margarita that we make with a touch of pineapple to keep it interesting.
Also requested was the "Gold Rush,” offering a classic bourbon blend with honey. Our third cocktail was the “Mojito” with muddled mint, lime, simple syrup, and a splash of soda. The "Gordon's Cup” was our fourth signature drink. A classic gin cocktail with crisp cucumber accented with salt and pepper. Cheers to cinematic successes and the spirited bonds that make Big Picture truly exceptional! We hope you had fun! |
